It is announced with profound sadness and anguish that Dr. Muhammad Kashif Ilyas, Anesthetist at Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology and Allied Hospital, Faisalabad (Pakistan) passed away on February 13, 2022. Apparently enjoying good physical and mental health, he suddenly collapsed and met his Creator before any medical help could be provided to him. The assumed cause of death was sudden cardiac arrest secondary to acute myocardial infarction.
Dr. Muhammad Kashif Ilyas was born on October 23, 1983 at Sheikhupura. After receiving his early education at Sheikhupura, he graduated from Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad (Pakistan) in 2006/07. He started his cardiac anesthesia services in Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology during 2012-2015. He joined and completed MCPS training in two years. Then he joined Allied Hospital Faisalabad in 2016 as an anesthetist.
With his remarkable sense of humor, he was a very cheerful person who had a unique art of remaining happy and keeping everyone happy. He was full of life.
We pray to Allah Almighty that his soul may rest in peace and give strength to his family to bear this irreparable loss. Ameen!
He would be remembered in our prayers and memories.
